StayTony Hollywood @ Highland, built in 1958 and extensively upgraded in 2019, is at first glance a tastefully light-filled white and warm rose colored mid-century courtyard building with a kitsch kidney shaped pool that pays homage to Hollywood glamour while keeping the building’s laid back west coast DNA intact.
Enter the apartments and the mood shifts gears to whimsical Italian modern maximalism that pays homage to high fashion couture through geometric shapes and contrasting colors. Artist, David McCauley, centered his vision for the design around Porter Teleo’s hand painted “Silk Scarf” wallpaper to stir guest’s creative spirit and awaking the center of their artistic fervor.
StayTony Hollywood @ Highland is situated in a quiet, off-the-beaten-path neighborhood that’s within walking distance of Hollywood’s main attractions including the Hollywood Bowl, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Chinese Theater, Hollywood Wax Museum, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Madame Tossaud Hollywood Wax Museum, the Magic Castle, Hollywood Paladium and the Pantages Theatre.
