Wallingford Estates is a gated community of 15 homes located in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood off of Benedict Canyon.
Homes in Wallingford were built in either 1972 or 1977, with two exceptions that are on each end of the community. One 1940's residence with a Benedict Canyon address at the north end of Wallingford Drive. This home predated the planned development but now sits behind the Wallingford gates. The home located at 2571 Wallingford Rd spans an estimated 38,000 square feet of living space and is by far the most expensive home in the neighborhood. The rest of the homes in this neighborhood offer 3 to 6 bedroom floor plans and range in size from 3,000 square feet up to 8,000 square feet.
The lots in Wallingford are situated along a low lying ridgeline. Most homes boast unobstructed views of the surrounding canyons, while taller ridges beyond provide a sense of seclusion from the big city. Twelve of the fifteen homes have swimming pools and many have been remodeled since the 1970s.
The community has a formal homeowners association with monthly dues required. The dues include the gated entrance, tennis courts and common area ground maintenance.
