The Metropolitan Building was designed by renowned architect John Parkinson (Union Station, City Hall, The Coliseum) in 1913. During it's illustrious history it has been home to The Famous Owl Drug Store and The Los Angeles Public Library. In fact, it's considered one of the finest examples of Beaux Arts Style in commercial buildings in all of Southern California. The building is located in the Historic Core of Downtown just across from the Metro and Pershing Square.
