Wilshire Vista Heights was developed in the 1920s and is home to the architecturally renowned Dunsmuir Flats. The Flats, a classic example of modern architecture, were designed by architect Gregory Ain in 1937 and hailed as his greatest achievement.
The Wilshire Vista Heights neighborhood is located in Mid-Wilshire just east of Wilshire Vista, and encompasses the area between Ridgeley Drive to the west and Cochran to the east. The community is known for its desirable location and eclectic housing stock which includes Spanish, Country English and Tudor homes, as well as duplexes and multi-unit buildings.
Wilshire Vista Heights is bordered by Cochran to the East, Ridgeley to the West, San Vicente to the North and Pico to the South.
The Wilshire Vista Heights Neighborhood Association was established in 2002.
