The Raymond Renaissance was built in 2009 next to the historic 1921 Raymond Theater that has been extensively renovated and restored. This 47 unit concrete and steel construction building is located in the heart of Old Town Pasadena. It is situated next to Memorial Park Metrolink Gold Line Station for easy commuting, the Levitt Pavilion for summer concerts, Farmer's market on Sundays and Pasadena's numerous restaurants and retailers providing urban living at its finest.

Originally opened in 1921, the Raymond Theater has undergone a restoration to its exterior. The interior has been transformed into mixed use residential and retail, pairing with a new building to the south. The two buildings combine to be the Raymond Renaissance. The Raymond Renaissance began with the restoration, renovation and adaptation of the old Jensen Raymond Theatre into exciting commercial and creative workspace units. The addition of a new adjacent building completes the total Raymond Renaissance.

The existing historic building facade underwent a complete renovation and restoration. All of the non-original materials have been removed. The original Terra Cotta has been restored and replicated where missing. The bricks were cleaned and returned to their original color. A new marquee was replicated to match as closely as possible to the photographs of the original marquee from 1921. The historic interior walls and ceiling of the theatre auditorium were restored to their original beauty. The addition of 12 skylights brings light and air to the 5-story atrium.

The Raymond Renaissance offers 28 condominiums located in the brick-faced building fronting Holly Street. They feature:
