The Toy Warehouse Lofts was the first significant Downtown adaptive reuse, for-sale loft project. Tucked away in a quiet corner of downtown's Art's District, a diamond in the rough, with bold, urban appeal. Built in 1923 as a toy warehouse and distribution center, the Toy Warehouse pioneered adaptive reuse in downtown becoming one of the first for sale loft projects in 1999.
Modernized by Decoma Properties, LLC, in 2001 these aunthentic lofts with open floor plans, exposed wood columns, plumbing and ductwork quickly sold out.
Toy Warehouse is located on the north east corner of Santa Fe and 3rd St. across from Ray Kappe's SCI-arc (Southern California Institute of Architecture), and walking distance to several local restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops.
